today was my first stab at a fully computerized song demo.

the drums are reasamplomatic-triggered freeware samples i found online. i used the blockfish compressor for the kick, snare, and toms.

the bass is some freeware bass synth i found through one of the fretted synth freeware bass amps.

the guitar is a tele copu with gfs rail humbuckers through the simuanalog marshall sounding vst. the other guitar track is through the juicy 77' vst guitar amp.

i used reaper's midi capabilities for literally the first time today and was able to put this together in no time flat. and considering everything used was freeware or included with reaper, i'm happy.

hope you guys like it.

yeah... it was just a riff that i really wanted to remember so i had to just record it. i might make a song of it sometime, but i'm not too successful at writing them, instrumental anyone? haha

Yeah cool riff with the slightly dissonant chord and then the single notes.

Would like to hear what this ends up being as completed song.

Mix sounds great
I like the bass sound too.

Super clever hook. Good sound. I need more... lots more.

Give it. Now.
