that's how the scrollbar arrows look at the moment: http://www.cockos.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1853&d=1184112118
affected scrollbars: main-window, mixer, routing matrix (scrollbars in other windows seem to be fine)
please fix it, so that they look properly again: http://www.cockos.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1854&d=1184112118 (as in older versions)!
FIXED (1.880)

Christophe,
it's better in 1.880 (doesn't look that strange anymore).
But: The scrollbar arrows in the related windows are (still) too big!
See the screenshot in the attachment. Notice the difference? Arrows are looking much better (because smaller) in the FX Chain and in the Preferences ...
Any chance to have the smaller arrows on all scrollbars?
DONE (1.881)

OMG! So wouldn't this be better posted in the nitepick forum? Or is this too be considered as a as high priority bug that needs immediate fixing like e.g. THIS (http://www.cockos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8912)

moved :)
i thought it's better to post it in the bug-forum, because the scrollbars are currently in development and it might be better to "fix" them right now instead of months later ...

Fixed for 1.880
Christophe,
I've just installed Reaper 2.147 on a friends laptop and there the scrollbar-arrows (when not using themed scrollbars) still look strange (stretched/deformed a bit). The screen-resolution is 1400x1050.
The thing is: On my machine (1366x1024) there's no such problem. Here the scrollbar-arrows look exactly the same as the ones in Windows Explorer for example.
Any idea?

Ahh, forget it Christophe. Just noticed that the scrollbar-width (Windows) was set to "18" on this laptop. Changed it back to "16" and all is fine again ...
