Does anyone have experience with the Uniwire VST plug-in for a Muse Receptor and Reaper? Controling my Receptor via Reaper is the main reason I want to use it (love the program so far, but still in the "evaluating" phase), but when I try to open Uniwire Reaper immediatley crashes. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Abandon hope?

Sorry for the trouble. I'm afraid there are not many Receptor users here, can you post the crashlog ( http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=36653 )? Also, what is your operating system and REAPER version (32 or 64 bit?)?

Running 32 bit on Windows Vista - just downloaded the most recent version of Reaper to demo it. Love it so far, and if it plays nice with uniwire I'm sold. I'll post the crashlog as soon as I find it. I'm also dealing with my first non-MacOS machine, so I've got multiple learning curves to tackle...

I tried opening uniwire both as an FX insert and as a virtual instrument with the same result:

Faulting application reaper.exe, version 4.3.2.0, time stamp 0x50f5f519, faulting module UniWireClientLib.dll, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x4a89c6d0, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0000954e, process id 0x4a8, application start time 0x01ce0914cde71fd5.

I'm running on a laptop - intel core2duo 2.4Ghz if that helps.

Thanks.

Alas the crash is in Uniwire, meaning only the Muse devs can know what's going wrong there so you need to contact them about it. We'd be happy to hear from them if there's something we can do in REAPER to make it work. Please also make sure you got the latest version. However, I found a post on Google (in another host's support forum) where Uniwire crashed when the host was set to higher samplerates, so please make sure you're using 44.1kHz.

I did have both sides set to 44.1, so I guess I'll be talking to the guys at Muse. Thanks for your time and effort.
