I have recently installed Reaper on my Windows Vista machine (Vista Ultimate, 32bit) and have noticed that every time I open the FX window I get a window popping up complaining that the Windows Help format used in Reaper is no longer used.

It's not a *huge* deal, but it is becoming a bit of an annoyance.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, are there plans to upgrade Reapers Help to include the new version in Vista?

Stick,
It's Vista not Reaper. Most of the help files in my programs don't open in Vista. Those that are pdf's i put in a file, and open as needed, including Reaper. (Although i've just had the Reaper pdf printed. 250 roubles, or about 7 Euros. No brainer.)

Alex.

Vista does not contains WinHelp program to open HLP file. You can download this program from Microsoft :

I don't see anything indicating that a plugin wants to open help. Help just opens - plugin's added or not. Although, this could be an avenue to look into - I do have some old SonicFoundary plugin's installed (gotta love the old WaveHammer).
