Well, yes, the song "indipence" is a serious attempt. After 30 seconds or so I started to think what bugs me with it. These are the two top items on my list:

1) the idea of hitting a guitar chord twice so that the first hit comes from the right speaker, the second hit from the left speaker - that idea was used extensively throughout the song. I don't want to hear that ever again.

2) the main vocal track was "thin" or "alone in the mix" in a way that I think could be improved with some mixing techniques. The first thing I would try with it would be Stillwell CMX plugin, just because that's what popped into my mind, not sure if it would achieve the impact I was missing
