hi there, just started using this program for a day or so..

doesn't really work for me since i use shaw lite for the moment.

in other words my net is slow as **** and everyone comes in for only a few seconds at a time, and i imagine its the same for everyone else trying to hear me.

i suppose what i'm asking is for an option to lower the bitrate at which the audio is sent and recieved as. perhaps to help less bandwidth endowed users ;)

I realize this was already asked but no real answer was given.

I am fully aware of the quality losses lower bitrates can yield.. but to be able to jam is worth the loss on my kick drum :D

thanks again.

the current method (under development (through Google Summer of Code) is to combine all the audio streams on the server side, and have some sort of vote system for server-side mixing.

Ninjam will never run on Shaw Lite speed Internet. 128kbps down and 64kbps up just won't cut it. Ever.
