Does anyone else use Gladiator 2 (the 64bit version)? I recently went from Windows 7 to Windows 8, and whenever I scan the VST directories, Reaper (latest version) crashes on that VSTi.

That's not entirely correct - the 32bit version of Gladiator 2 runs fine. The issue is only with the 64bit version.

of course, Iīve refered to x64 versions...

by the way, I donīt like Tone2 products (some of them uses malware tech)

I prefer alchemy, ace, zebra2 or omnisphere... ;)

Okay, because that wasn't exactly explicitly stated.

Please cite a source for that, because I don't believe that's actually true. :)

I'm sure the makers of those synths are happy to have you as a customer, but right now my issue is with Tone2 Gladiator 2, 64bit, under Windows 8.

AFAIK Tone2 watermarks their executables. I hardly say that's malware, but okay. Also, the irony of someone using pirated software complaining about not feeling safe using something that might have malware in it (in that thread) blows my mind :)

there have been some threads on kvr about the developer of tone2 products and his "tactics."

It seemed quite suspect to me.

I've no need for his wares, but if I did I would be very careful.
