I changed some parts of the new default color theme with elements from White Tie's spare parts thread. But everytime you install a new program version these parts get overwritten with the default parts. So you have to replace the files again and again and again, which I find quite annoying.

Why aren't you just copying those files you want to a seperate and new theme? So it won't get overriden anymore.

Yep. It's very easy to do. Get the look you want set up just right, and save a new theme named "Del Pedro 1" or something. It'll be there in the list to choose from whenever you want.

I could have done that of course. If I had not been too stupid to find this solution :)
