I came across this song by Ryszard Rynkowski, an extremely popular Polish singer, which I reckon is a good example of how to make bucketloads of cash with extremely simple music.
I dig the intro and the extro, the organ, the vocal (and the way it sits in the mix) and the two-note bass riff which underlines the song. Note the "nye nye nye" at around 1min 14s, which comes around again later and is repeated in earnest for the climax.
This song and its production oozes class and professionalism, to my mind, so I post it up here for your delectation. He's singing about drinking beer in the shade, having not much to do, counting clouds and a train journey from afar......more or less.
