Its only small but it bugs me regularly.

Im using samples in the metronome and have a precount set.

If i start REAPER(which loads a template with a record armed track) and hit record,...the first beat of the metronome gets choked which always throws my concentration.

Hit stop then record again and its fine.

...and then it chokes again on the first beat after the precount, which happens everytime.

Any chance of getting rid of these glitches?

Have you tried changing your Record buffer settings or your soundcard latency setting to see if this helps the situation?

Yeah, i might try using different samples if this is only happening for me???

Care to repro,...using audio samples with a precount, do you get a glitch on the first beat of the metronome after the precount, when the actual recording starts?

Well, I use the built-in generic frequency clickity-clicks, and I almost always get a choking of the first beat of the count-in (or no first beat of the count-in at all), or a double-flam on the first beat of the recording - so I doubt it's the samples you're using.
