Edit for clarity: All 5 tracks are metal. There is absolutely no requirement to scream/growl/whatever, you can sing or even talk.

You have pretty much total freedom on the track. My only request is that there be no foul language (fuck and shit mostly). I know...might sound funny with as much as I cuss like a sailor around here, I just have a pet-peeve about it in lyrics.

Any vocal style, any language. You can even take (some) liberties with the track itself if you need to. In that regard I mainly mean that there are some parts that are quite long due to many repetitions...if you need to shorten a part and it can be done cleanly, go for it. I'll also request a transcription of the lyrics, translated to english if they're in a different language (loose interpretation is fine of course)

I'm looking for as many takers as are willing to give it a go. My goal will always be getting one of my home-town heroes to jump into the project, but I am absolutely itching to hear some vocals on these tracks and to get some experience with mixing them in.

Feel free to record onto the main mix and post it directly in this thread, or inbox me instead. I do want the stems with no FX applied so that I can have a go at mixing vocals in. I will send the mixed track back to you for approval before posting it publicly.

Pick one, do them all, do whatever you want. This is for fun more than anything, clearly these won't be used in any commercial way and I claim no rights to any material you send me yadda yadda yadda.

You should mention the genre of the thing. I was all excited and then it was metal. :D Then again maybe. It is a kick ass composition.

Don't hate on metal :P

And like I said, ANY vocal style. Screaming and growling is not required.

But yeah I'll update the original post when I get off this plane. Side note, I absolutely hate long runway taxi.

You make me sad.

I know metal isn't the most popular thing around these parts, but hey...maybe at least one person will want to do something with at least one track eh?

Right on!

Would you mind clean metal vox ( meaning ala tate , halford , dio etc ) or lemmy / HOF style vox ?

I used to be a good growler but it hurts me chords now

Not at all man, whatever you think sounds good. Half the fun is hearing how other people interpret my music and put their touch on it. Like I said, anything goes! (Except saying fuck or shit or other words on that level, that just turns me off in lyrics so quickly for some reason)
