Lots of hard work in there. I like the beats and the quality of the mix itself.

Interesting change of pace at around 1:16, nice synth at about 2:23 -- great interweaving of the various elements. Nice guitarish synth at around 2:55, almost a sad human voice feel to it --- very effective.

I also like the circularity of the accompaniment, and the cascading feel at around 3:59 is terrific -- also the sax voice and bass and tempo change with beat at around 4:37.

All in all, a nice package.

This is crazy lush, listened to it five times in a row. Slow dubby part with massive pad is fantastic then it just gets better. There's not enough sax parts in atmospheric non-cheesy music.

Thanks for the comments ... glad you liked it ...

I kept the sax to a minimum on this ... didn't want to go too cheezey!

My other track is in the KVR One Synth competition is here ...

Quite similar in some styles ... different in others ...

You may like it as well!!

PS Oh yes, mixed/mastered etc in REAPER, of course!

I've been absent from the board for a few months, but I noticed this one yestderday. Really good work, Dr! The intro is a little misleading at first (not necessarily a bad thing), but it ties back in at the end. Plus what really got my attention was the change of pace from the dance beat to the more laid back flow. All really well played and mixed. The subtle continual changes keep it interesting, but doesn't feel disjointed or "without form". Great job again on this one!
