Don't know if this classifies as a bug, nitpick or just a luser (that is me having the wrong settings somewhere)... So feel free to move it :-)

Having a lot of tracks in reaper. With the cursor hovering over the list of tracks in the upper left corner on the workspace using the scroll-wheel will scroll up and down through the tracks. Thats nice.

Scrolling over the lanes in the right upper corner zooms in and out on the media clips here. Thats also nice.

But: Using the scroll-wheel in the routing matrix when its "docked" also just changes the zoom-level on the media clips instead of scrolling down through the sources in the routing matrix. Even if I put the cursor over the scrollbar in the routing matrix, it still just zooms in on the media clips.

Should it be like this?

When the mixer, media explorer or performance meter is active in the docking panel the scroll-wheel works nice. Its just in the routing matrix as far as I can see...

currently, the routing matrix ignores the mouse wheel.
I believe that there have been several requests for this already.
hopefully we'll se that added soon.

It's not just the routing matrix, docked fx/VSTi's don't scroll down either.

The scroll wheel should default to Windows behavior when hovering there, so you can scroll down to view, without having to mouse over and click on the scroll bar.

Alas, there is probably a good reason it behaves this way.

some plug ins consume mouse scroll events i think.
