when constructing a midi sequence it takes too
long before you actually hear the changes.... IMHO
for instance, if the playback is at the start
of a 4/4 bar at 120 bmp and you delete a note at
the end of that same bar, you will still hear the
"invisible note" when playback reaches that point.
especially when constructing something in a loop,
as i think many people do, it cramps work flow
if you don't see what you hear/hear what you see
all the time :)
my experiences with other DAW are that changes
in midi are audible instantly.
changing asio buffer size didn't seem to make any
difference, nor did system specs.
