Using the mac build of Reaper with Reason 3.0 Rewire Questions.

I might be doing this wrong but when I press the fx button to choose rewire it does not show up in the add fx menu. Can someone explain to me how to get Reaper to recognize Reason 3.0 for rewiring purposes.

could it be that rewire support on osx has not been implemented in reaper yet?

I still haven't solved my problem with my MacBook Pro speed issues, but I was wondering if perhaps ASIO drivers were the solution?
