I've posted this elsewhere and been told that it's probably a bug.
Right clicking on a note, on the virtual keyboard, correctly centres that note but the note shown in the "Centre Note [Right click a key to set]:" window is incorrect. Setting "Midi Octave Name display offset" under Preferences/Media/Midi to 2 corrects this.
