Hello,

I know Reaper for about 6 months and I like it. I prefer a fast workflow and I managed to set up Reaper according to my individual preferences.

There is one thing that could be improved, though, since I change buffer size quite often during a session, I would like to know whether I could do it in a simpler and faster way just by pressing certain keys, maybe key A for 64 and B for 128 and so on.

Is there a way to create something like shortkeys for this purpose ?

I have just uploaded a Reaper video and track on Youtube, also different Reaper themes show up in this video.

Nice! Curious if there is a reference to weather report here or did I imagine that?
Reg. the buffer size, did you check the actions menu? Or maybe it's possible with a custom action?

Is it the asio buffer size you are changing ?
And if so
... Second question : why ?

Yes, Asio.

Tracking w/o fx (VST) buffer size 64
Tracking with fx 128-256
Playback/Listening/Checking 512
Mixing / Rendering 1024

that makes really sense. (I am not sarcastic. I did such things in Cubase in a similar way. for only mixing I had a latency of sometimes 750ms. there is no CPU hit anymore. :-)) but you surely cant track with that.)
