Dumb question re: playback

Hey

So I have this drum clip and I guess it's Acidized or whatever because Reaper plays it back at a reduced tempo. It's being stretched during playback - as opposed to a sample rate mismatch...

How do I get Reaper to ignore Acid/tempo info? Or is that even what is going on here?

The clip reads on its overview data "Rate: 0.748"

I found some more info, but I don't understand what I'm looking at really as it relates to playback.

Under "Item Properties" the clip reads as 24/44.1 and has an ACID chunk of BPM = 160.43 and Transpose with Root = A.

Changing the project BPM to 160.43 doesn't do anything. The clip still plays back at a lowered tempo.

Audacity just plays it fine.

Weird. Help?
