LeftClick+Drag changes time selection instead of marquee select

The title pretty much says it all here. Basically I think it would make more sense to marquee select when you leftclick and drag rather than change the time selection. I think its pretty much standard behavior in all DAWs. Multi-selecting is a much more common task that changing the time selection so it should have priority in my opinion. Or am I missing some benefit to current way it is?

Is there an option to reverse this behavior so rightclick+drag changes the time selection and leftclick+drag multi-selects items? I checked under mouse editing behavior and couldn't find anything.

Yeah, I agree that there should be an option to at least reverse it. Right-click + drag is actually kind of difficult.

There have been many requests for the configurability of the mouse functions, all to no avail as yet.
Maybe in Version 3 .... ;)
