Dragging items during playback

Does anyone else find it annoying that if you're dragging an item and it intersects the playback cursor, it gets played along with whatever else is going on? It would be much better for my nerves if items being dragged didn't exist for playback until you drop them.

I agree.

I would also like to see an implementation of ghost tracks (for example, if I pick up and slide a track with the mouse, I can see a highly transparent version of where the track originally was, until I release the mouse button to finalize the move). I believe Cubase and Nuendo do that.
