Not sure this is in the correct forum...

If I have "Automatically scroll during playback" turned off, I don't like that the screen still scrolls when navigating with keyboard arrows or when pressing HOME or END.

A real world example would be if I'm in the process of editing a small section in the middle or so of a song, with a high zoom level, I might want to listen to the song from the beginning. I press HOME, W (which does the same thing btw) or the "Go to start of project" button. This will bring my view to the beginning of the project which I do not want since I haven't finished editing in the section I was previously in.

IMO it would be better to re-define the "scroll during playback" to "Project view follows cursor" or something.

It would also be nce to have a "Stationary cursor" option where the cursor is centred and the project i scrolling smoothly behind it.

Before going to bed yesterday I was thinking that maybe jumping to markers wouldn't scroll the screen. Unfortunately it does. I can't seem to find a setting to prevent this.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one in the need of a stationary project screen?

PS. Stationary cursor when scrolling would be a nice option too.

I forgot to say that there is a setting in preferences "Don't autoscroll view (when enabled) when biewing other parts of the project", but it doesn't seem to work for what I'm after.
