- Load ReaEQ (default preset)
- Select band 4
- Choose type: LowPass

Result (at least from where I'm sitting):

According to frequency/gain window, some of the highest frequencies seem to pass.

This is only a graphical issue, right?

I was wondering the same thing earlier today.

You are running at 44.1kHz samplerate, that means that nyquist is at 22.05kHz and above that that is no frequency content hence there isn't any procession over 22kHz.
Though I agree that the drawing could still go up to 24kHz.

That easy, huh! ;) Thanks for straightening that out for me!

So, if I run at 48.000 Hz sample rate, the "non-frequency content" space won't be there. But, on the other hand, why the upper frequency-limit at Nyquist 24.000 Hz? I mean, we can't "hear" anything above 20.000 Hz anyway, why bother going further than 22.050?

Or am I missing some elementary thing here?

Well e.g. if you run at 96kHz and like to tame the highs a bit you'd sometimes just set a lowpass at 24kHz and use a very high bandwidth for it.

im running at 96k and have the same graph!
would i have to set the project settings to 96k to change this?

Thats where the mind control goes. :)

You just need to have REAPER run at 96kHz (or anything above 44.1kHz will do), it doesn't matter if you define it in the project settings or the device settings, as long as the right top corner reads the correct value.
