Question about MIDI

Does the actual version import MIDI files?
If it does, I can't find out how...

Create a new track. Drag your MIDI file from Windows Explorer (or the Reaper Media Explorer) into the track. You're done.

Edit: Ooops! Just noticed this was in the OS X forum. I know nothing about OS X.

in mac version it is not possibel to drag and drop audio or midi files into a project.
never tried to import midi-files in reaper on mac, sorry.
open media item works for audio-files.
