question above.
i know right-click and "remove item", but i would like to hit one key.

btw:
what i really miss (in mac-version): AU-plugins, my own key-commands, docker, track-colors, themes and a little more managable direct fades on items (itīs tricky at the moment cause the arrow donīt turn to another symbol).
What also need to be checked is holding the apple key to change the size of tracks with the mouse scroll wheel. works really bad. sometimes it doesnīt work.

I'm a Windows user of Reaper, but am trying to get my friend up and running on the Mac version, pending full release. In this version (win) delete removes items, unless you're talking about the track, where delete will remove that too (only if it's highlighted). AU plugs are not in the Windows version either, but Justin is planning to implement that. Justin is also currently working on the docker for Mac.

I do believe he (and Cockos) plan to get Reaper for Mac up to the same level as the Windows version before it is full released.

you can assign random track colors.
But deleting is not working unless you want to
cut the whole track
