I have the Window task bar set to auto-hide, and Reaper conflict with that by making it appear behind the application instead of on top, a behavior that remains until Reaper is closed, which is a pain if you want to work with multiple applications.
Firefox used to do this a few release ago, but then it got fixed, at least on my machines. Could this little niggle be fixed in Reaper also?
FIXED (2.145)

+1 I use auto hide as well and experience this same annoyance.

I don't have my Taskbar set to auto-hide, but I do have it set to the left-hand side of the screen and Reaper always opens underneath the Taskbar. Other applications remember their window position from the last close. It would be nice to get this fixed.
Cheers,
Malcolm.

ahh, you mean if the taskbar is set to autohide, and you maximize reaper, then quit, then restart, it takes the full screen and the taskbar doesnt appear until you unmaximize, or hit the start key (or ctrl+escape)?
This I can reproduce, I'll look at fixing...
Also, looks like if you disable the splash screen, the problem doesnt occur, no?

Hi Justin,
Unfortunately this didn't fix the problem on my machine. Screencast as requested:

My screen resolution is 1920 x 1200.

Why not just hit the windows button, and the task bar instantly appears?
