i've not found anything like this in the documents yet,...

is there a way to drop in samples? (kick, snare) like using the tab-to-transient function in PT?

and is there a quantize audio function?
a-la beat detective?

these are the two biggest things i need, if they are not here yet,..will they be implemented to beta versions?

thanks!

manually going form transient to transient with the cursor on an empty track and pasting the sample in would be fine (do this in PT mostly)

but will reaper allow the same way of doing this?,

Dude, have you tried it???
It took me 20 seconds to see if Tab to Transient worked for me... it did.
It will only take 30 seconds for you to try out if it works...
