AU...no interfaces?

I'm successfully using Reaper Mac to record my band for demo purposes, and it's going great. The limitations I'm running into are for things that apparently are not yet supported.

For example, I've got AU effects available, but none of them appear to have any sort of interface whatsoever (so therefore they are not usable at all).

i.e. I insert an AU, but the window does not give me any way to control it...so it's not usable.

Is this just something that's not supported yet?

AU plugins aren't supported yet, I believe. They do show up in the list of available plugins, though.
