This is a very interesting development. Justin, will the OSX version eventually ahve all the same kind of support for plugin development as the win32 version? Understandably, plugins will not be cross platform rather unfortunately I guess. but perhaps people will eventually figure out a way to do that too.
I am in the process of changing over to OSX and the Plugin SDK for Reaper has recently made me quite interested in following the progress of Reaper.

I suppose plugins and their functions that don't do anything much in the GUI department should be relatively easy to port to Mac Os-X. The SDK itself doesn't have much Windows-spesific code. But the developer still needs Os-X and the Apple developer tools installed, that's why I haven't yet attempted porting any of my own Reaper extensions code to the Mac. I am not very much interested in Os-X as a platform, for various reasons... But I will try making Os-X Reaper extension plugins someday in the "near future", during the summer...

I guess if someone is able to figure out one of the cross platform gui libs such as wxwidgets to use in conjunction with the Reaper SDK, and code to that...then it should not be too difficult for the plugins to be cross platform. Seems like if Reaper is truly going to suppor the OSX platform, this would be a good thing to spearhead.
