I know I am doing something silly but when I go to import an MP3 from my iTunes music folder, all the music is "greyed out." I have a new track open to receive but I can't make the import. What am I failing to do? Seems like that's how I used to do it on the XP side. Thanks.

Hmm if you do it from an mp3 file on your desktop does that work?

Hi-
Nope. I copied the mp3 to the desktop. Opened Reaper OSX. Opened a new track and went to Import Media. Navigated to Desktop and the mp3 file was "greyed out" and I couldn't import it.

Ah strange.. did you try drag&drop from explorer?
Did you install REAPER by dragging the entire REAPER/ folder from the disk image to your drive? It's important that the Plugins/ folder be with REAPER.app...

Bingo, Justin! Dragging the whole Reaper folder into Applications totally did the trick. Sorry for being so dense.
