View Full Version : Misleading waveform zooming behaviour

When zooming in, the waveform at the run cursor is displayed in misleading horizontal positions at various zoom amounts.

For example, if I zoom in to the maximum amount and place the run cursor to the left of the first non-zero sample and then start zooming out, at various zoom amounts it appears there is substantial data in the waveform to the left of the run cursor.
This make it difficult to know visually where the start of a waveform really begins.

Does this description make sense? I can supply some screenshots if necessary.

Thanks,

Randy

I experience similar things in particular with compressed media files (mp3)
