This may seem like an odd thing to say, but running Reaper in Windows is more visually appealing to me than running it on OS X. All the lines and fonts seem to be thicker in the OS X version, which I really don't like. Specifically, when it builds peaks, they seem very blobby and inaccurate and the numbers that indicate the cursor position seem too thick. All the buttons on the upper left side seem too big, almost like I zoomed in on my screen just a tad so everything is just slightly off. Is there a way to correct this, or is the Windows version always going to look better?
And I'm talking about the default theme/color set here.

This is probably due to OS X's own built in Anti-Aliasing.

Hi!
I'm curious to know if any of the themes created in the main forum will work on OSX?
And if so, how do implement them?
I'm new to the mac so I'm not sure how themes work with it's OS.
So far I've mixed 1 song and everything has gone really smooth. I love the interface and what I can do with it. great job!

I was ready to answer no, but decided to test. And what do you know, they DO work!
1) Download a theme from http://stash.reaper.fm/
2) Extract the zipped file.
3) Copy/move the "Yourtheme" folder as well as "Yourtheme.ReaperTheme" to REAPER/ColorThemes/
4) Choose your theme in Reaper preferences -> Appearance -> Color Theme -> Load theme

mrelwood,
Fantastic! Thank you.
All I did was download the theme and add it to my colour theme. Worked like a charm.
I might have tried this but I was at work earlier and learning from this forum. Thanks again!
cheers!
Chris
