The main thing holding us back is that people report all sorts of VST/AU issues, of which we can't really test all of..

I suppose we just need to bite the bullet and call it a beta, get more people testing, then pick up the pieces...

FWIW, I've been using the mac beta for a few weeks now and everything is working very well for me.

I'm ready to offer a few effective hours testing issues if you need.

I just can't wait to working with a full-blown Mac Reaper !
Running Windows/Bootcamp, re-installing all the plugs and VIs, dealing with driver issues etc. is a PITA.

What can the Mac Reaper community do to help you make it ?

ok, whe i load novation bass station soft synth, automapped or not, all presets are there and I can here them but there is no GUI.

UVI Workstation, loads GUI but no sound.

Waves, I have the power pack, if I load any waves, reaper quits.

anybody else having same problems?

I'm testing the latest on a Macbook C2duo 2.2, 4 gigs of ram. OSX 10.5.4. It hasn't crashed on me yet... the only problems I'm having are instruments interface not appearing in the FX window. Izotope I-Drum for instance. The drag and drop is working though in the VSTi. AU didn't work. Is there a way to show the mixer AND the midi editor in the dock at the same time? I'm trying to map a lot of the keys to my keys from Logic... That would be really cool!
