Woohoo! And I've already crashed it 14 times!
I'm gonna go through and check all the plugins before I post a crash report, but it keeps happening when I screw with the prefs, particularly in the color themes settings. Like I said, I'll make sure one of my plugs isn't the culprit before I get all posty with the crash logs and the hoohaw.
Thanks for the Beta, Cockos. I will be spending the next few weeks abusing it mightily.

Didn't you know we're up to 2.44 Beta now? 2.43 is soooo, like, yesterday. Or at least sooo "before lunch".
Ran it for a few minutes between clients. No crashy so far.

I can't find keyboard/control in the Mac beta 2.44 version. It's not under Preferences--->General. Has it been removed, or just moved?

Congrats on BETA stage!
Very crashy here though. But beta stage means time / focus to fix that. Great!

New Project - add new track - insert new midi clip - open in midi editor - press spacebar - crash!

I got an error I couldn't get past when I tried to import a MIDI file into a song from my firewire work drive; it won't do it unless I copy it first to my internal hard drive.
I can't save my REAPER project to my external drive either - "cannot create file!" - and although I'm logged in as admin even my normal method of getting around this, saving to the desktop, is now disabled. I can however save to my own individual Documents folder. REAPER also crashed on me in the process. I'll hold off for a day or so while this is sorted or more info emerges.
G5 dual 2.0, 1.5 gig RAM
(thought I'd add - I wondered if the behaviour was connected with permissions, so I ran Disk Utility - no change in behaviour though)
