I have running on a dual 1.8 G5 w 3GB ram and Presonus Firebox.
It seems to run great but Reaper crashes immediately when I load a js plugin. I dont think this is a deal breaker on buying a license (I have plenty of AU and VST plugins to go around) but I thought I'd let you guys know. Other than that issue, Reaper is pretty sweet.

Not only JS plugins. It still crashes with some VST(i)s or AU(i)s as well, e.g. Arturia Analog Factory AU (Demo), or displays an empty plugin window which is pretty useless to work with (e.g. iZotope Vinyl VST). But for most plugins I tested, it works and is great.

Good to know that it is not just me. I'd love to try the js plugins. I couldn't get Circle AUi to work, but it didn't crash

Update: in 2.44 beta the Arturia Analog Factory demo AU works eventually, while the VSTi version has the empty GUI window so it's still unuseable. So the AU issue seems to be getting solved - instant happiness: this is the best product service I've ever encountered since Flavio A. slaved over n-track and its customer wishes (that's meant as a BIG compliment to Justin :-D
A great time to have switched to MacOSX.
