...would gladly pay a premium for an implementation of Dirac Pro or Studio. Probably tough to swing since I think they're charging developers on a flat-fee basis only now for these paid versions.

Have you tried Elastique Pro? :)
If enough people really think the Dirac Studio/Pro versions are better for enough purposes, we could be inclined to license it...

Hm I've tryed to compare both on stretching drum-tracks. Dirac LE gave a better result at some situations, while elastique pro sounds more naturally and takes a LOT less CPU usage.
Btw. Dirac LE 1.5 is out.. Reaper is still using 1.3 i think?
