So, I totally slacked and need to have this mixed by 6pm PST today for a contest. If you all could please give a listen and provide any advice for the mix, I'd appreciate it. I'm going for a sort of surf rock / reggae thing, and have NO experience playing or recording either. I'm a metal head. Also, I've been up for about twenty hours and have lost all perspective on the sound quality. I know, pristine mindset to do music. Anyway, let me know what you think.
By the way, it's for a video game with zombies, so that's why there's moaning at the end.

Thanks in advance!

sounds cool!!
I'd probably shelve the bass a little higher as it seems to be taking over the mix a little but other than that - i'd be happy with it!

I agree about the bass and a bit to verby on some of the instruments.Makes it a bit mushy and too distant?
If you have been at it 20 hours for god's sake give your ears a rest man<grin> :P

Just to clarify, I haven't been doing music for 20 hours, just been awake for that long. Worked a graveyard shift last night, got home about 11, started working on music. I'm not TOTALLY insane...
Thanks for the advice so far. Here's an updated version with the bass reduced in bassy-ness a reverb reduced in reverby-ness.

I set it to be a public file. Browser issue? The last one went fine for you, right? Let me know.

That one worked. The mix is much better IMHO.The drums may have a just a little bit too much top-end which is making the cymbols just a little harsh but then that could be me or even if they have peaked a but high on the faders?I'm guilty of this and have started dropping my channel faders down and then leaving the overall volume to the final mix now but it's great,"As-is" :)
As with all things I listen to I walk around a bit as tracks are playing so as not to get too caught up in the ,"Nearfield" illusions and see how the bass and kicks etc travel.

The adventure continues!
Here's version three, with high end rolled off a bit on the drums. I agree, they were a bit too hissy. I hadn't touched the drums since setting up the original eq for the drum track, which was back before I added most of the instrumentation. Sounds better now.
