Hi
Everytime I install the latest build it means I have to re-do all my settings in the prefences. Is there a way round this - ie can I same my settings somehow?
I wouldn't mind, but we get new builds every couple of days :-)

It shouldn't happen if you do not uninstall the old version.

Along these lines, how would I save Reaper preferences so that I can install a version with the factory default settings, and go back to my saved preferences later? What file holds the preferences?

Save a copy of a good Reaper.ini, then delete the Reaper.ini in the folder and install the new version of Reaper, if you want your old settings back, delete the Reaper.ini and replace it with your saved copy.

You'll find the Reaper.ini in Docs and settings/your name/application data/Reaper.

I always like to have a good Reaper.ini laying around, in case Reaper gets wonky and I need to delete the .ini
