I'm glad you guys liked it. I know it was short. I came home from work Wednesday and felt like trying out the blues to see what I could come up with. I eventually want to write a Blues song. Just a quick experiment.

Sammy, I'm glad it left you wanting more. So here you go. This is my attempt at Reggae from a couple of months back:

I think the bass sound needs some work, but it was another attempt at a style I don't know much about.

You don't want to hear me sing. I have a friend that sings and we're writing some new stuff. When we get that together, I'll post songs with vocals.

Thanks for listening!

pulled it off pretty well for a style u don't know much about (the reggae). a thousand different melodies came to mind as i listened. I got lost a little around the bridge but it fell back into place. prob because it was my first listen. not at all bad.

If you have an idea for a melody and lyrics, I'll rearrange the song as needed. Otherwise, you can rearrange what you have and send me a rough mix and I'll re-record with the correct arrangement.

Sammy, that's awesome. I was wondering when you were going to do an "I feel like writing an awesome Reggae song today". Sweet. Louie, the Reggae song have a very cool groove. Very laid back, swinging and mellow, yet upbeat for the genre. Nice. Looking forward to hearing it develop.

Digging the blues playing too. Understated. I like that a lot.

ok, louie. i said "longer version" earlier because i was still thinking about the blues song; for the reggae i meant "different version," but you already answered that in your PM. i'll start soon.

thank you kinda, but in this instance it will be SING and awesome reggae song.

Cool blues tune. What are you using for drums?

Kinda, thanks for the compliment. I would definitely like to hear what Sammy has for the reggae song.

SW, I'm using Jamstix for the drums. I think it is an R&B kit with the stock 6/8 blues style.

Sammy, I'm cool with you working on either song. I thought your comment about hearing melodies was for the reggae tune, but like I said, either one is cool.
