I finally received the finished product (CDs) yesterday! The place that did the short-run did an excellent job.

This is an album that was recorded on my (once owned) Roland VS-2000CD. Well, that VS was gone and I had to find a way to mix and master this recording for an April release date. I found REAPER - or did it find me? - and never looked back or at another program again!

Many others have commented on the great audio engine that REAPER has and I have to agree, to the point of saying it's better than what's in a Roland VS unit.

Okay, so this album 'Ancient Elements' is done and available, CD and download, at Rushingwind-Mucklow.com, MichaelMucklow.com, Bandcamp.com (http://rushingwind-mucklow.bandcamp.com) and CDBaby.com (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/RushingwindMucklow).

First 20 REAPER'ites to PM me get a FREE album download!

I came across this beautiful music after surfing the thread.

Do yourselves and favour and listen - it may well calm the spirit and cheer the mind!

Just wanted to let the REAPER community know three songs from the 'Ancient Elements' album were selected for inclusion in the documentary 'Disappointment Valley', a film about the current plight of, and salvation for, the American wild horse. To learn about this film visit the website Disappointment Valley (http://www.theamericanwildhorse.com/index.php).

Here's a portion of the music supervisor's email to us:
Thank you so much for your music..It is wonderful wonderful wonderful.....very spiritual and very moving and James Kleinert, who shot, produced, and edited the film loved the tracks. We have a rough cut of the film done and are currently sending it out to several film festivals and used all three of your tracks. They will probably also be used in the trailer.

Songs chosen for the film are 'Into The Canyon', 'Unbroken Spirit' and 'The Forgotten Plains'. Our website is Rushingwind & Mucklow (http://rushingwind-mucklow.com/).

Thank you REAPER for making is so easy to produce my/our music on the computer!

I can see why you have tracks included in a film....your music is some of the best "New Age - Ambient" that I have heard in a while. I can see it fitting right into a documentary like the one mentioned!

Thank You for posting it, it is a great CD!

Smurf,

Thank you so much for the kind comments!

Steve and I were pleasantly surprised by the selection of the songs. We had thought about our music being good for film, but with it actually happening it brought nice big smiles to our faces. :D
Glad to know you're enjoying the music.
