Anyone else using one of these?
I'm getting an intermittent problem in REAPER that I used to see in ACID5&6 (though it's less often here than in ACID which seemed to occur after about 2 minutes)
Sometimes all MIDI output to the device just stops. The device's USB connection indicator is still glowing but there is no MIDI output activity showing. It seems to happen when there is a fair amount of activity on several channels. When it happens I have to restart the app.
It's not so frequent as to be a major problem (and of course it's quick to re-open the RPP & no data is lost) but it has made me consider switching MIDI devices. There hasn't been a driver update since 2003 so I'm guessing nothing will change from M-Audio side.
But it seems unlikely that it's a REAPER issue of not generating the MIDI since I saw the same symptoms with ACID and other people aren't getting this with other devices.
Interestingly it never happened in Cubase, which I used with the MIDIsport for 4 years so I guess it can't be a cable issue.
