I'm not sure exactly how to classify this, umm, tune/piece.

Well...it's an instrumental.

...and I hope you like it.

Love it! The beginning reminds me a bit of a Bachs Praeludium. Could be some kind of film music. Goes very well with a happy end ...

Thanks moio.

I had to hunt Praeludium down and you're right, it kind of does. :)

Was looking forward to getting time to listen to this when I saw it on the forum, having really got into Object of my Affliction on your page.

And wow! What a classy piece of work and I don't mean slick, I mean really beautifully put together with some lovely risky vertiginous chromatic melody bits. My favourite bit is when it goes from epic to achingly intimate at the end with the piano.

Great.

Wow, I don't know what to say. High praise guys. :)

Very much appreciated, especially considering the talent people it comes from.

scottedog, just found this from your reverbnation signature link (and then looked to see if you posted about it).

This is a really beautiful composition, man. It reminds me a lot of later Pink Floyd stuff - which I love. It's not that it sounds like Pink Floyd, but rather it feels inspired by it.

Off to listen to some more of your stuff...

Edit: boo... you have a pic of protools on your reverbnation page :D

HA! Been meaning to change that. :D

I was suckered in early and I'll be happy as hell when I'm finally done with it.

Gotta love Floyd!

Yes, a great piece indeed.
And the arrangement.
Love the sidestepping piano - would've gone too sweet otherwise.
