there's enough riffs there to make 10 songs with no real definitive sections or verses, choruses or whatever. i liked the stuff at 2:00 to about 4:00 quite a bit though. there's a **** ton of gain on everything too. also the hi hats need to be EQ'd a bit, add a bit of brightness and take way from the upper mids a small bit because it's masking the snare and all i hear is the ringing from the snare coming through the mix.

I agree with zoso2, the hats and snare need work.
I think the hats could come down quite a bit. In fact, the overheads in general could really come down. They're masking everything except the guitars, which are hugely loud as well.
Is there a bass guitar in there? Because if there is, I can't hear it at all.
Definitely come down on your gain on the guitars... I know it feels painful, but it will help, I promise.

Hope this helps.

You have some great ideas in here, especially the sections that start around 2:30, 3:00 and 3:50.

I don't have any critique to add other than to echo what the others have pointed out. I agree with everything they are saying.

I think this is a strong beginning to what could grow into a pretty wicked tune, man. Nice job.

Between 2:11 and 2:25 is just too freaking cool! J
