I've been working on this demo since yesterday and this is what I came up with so far http://www.sendspace.com/file/hfjh2y

Washburn WG228 guitar with seymour duncan blackouts (Neck PU on left pan and Bridge PU on right pan) and 100 Hz lowpass (reaper preset)
POD Farm guitar tone (customized) with slight delay
Ibanez Soundgear Bass
Superior Drummer 2.0 Metal Foundry (KSE preset) with velocity modifications
Only 11 band EQ on the master channel

I feel it sounds pretty okay but would appreciate feedback since this is for the upcoming EP.

Thanks a lot

Godd riffs, man. but I have to say it still sounds a little "buried," maybe just a touch more on the high end or away from the mids.

No prob, man. Enjoyed what I heard. I listened again...might wanna check out the stereo field also. Just about sounds mono--unless that's on purpose.

Hi there, I would have listened to your song, but got totally annoyed using sendspace... If you choose to upload to something less irritating (perhaps stashbox.org) I will gladly try to give it a listen :)

Better, but something's still not "clear"...same reason for the stereo statement. It's definitely 'there,' but not distinct. Sorry, man, I can only mention what doesn't quite sound right, but it would take one of the better guys here to explain how to fix it, or at least be more specific so you could hone in.

i think what ur talking about is the guitar tone........my tone sense is horrible lol......probably fuzzy due to that

Here's a different mix if anyone is interested......this sounds better to me

You're not *that* tone deaf. This version shines thru noticeably more than the others.
