Hi,
I have developed an arpeggiator VST plugin with iPlug framework and I have planned to start beta testing soon.
If you have previous experience in testing software and want to participate to make the world's best arpeggiator plugin bug free please send me a message.

I'd be willing to give it a run though. Win7 x64.

Actually provide feedback too haha, I can't stand when I give a plug to someone for testings and never hear back from them.. ughh

Yes, agreed,. I was assuming that was part of the beta testing process !! :-)
BTW 2 of the plugins on my VST page were done with IPlug so I have some familiarity with the library and am a software developer by trade, so I have some background if that means anything. :)
I have found a bug in Kirnu (v1.0 beta 2): When I play a few notes using REAPER's virtual MIDI keyboard everything is fine. But when I play a few notes on my Studiologic VMK-161 MIDI controller Kirnu doesn't seem to receive any Note Off messages. I think this is because the Studiologic sends Note On running status shortcuts (http://www.midi.org/techspecs/ca31.pdf) (9n kk 00 acts as Note Off) instead of "true" Note Off messages.

I think I love you Tale ;)
I noticed same bug with my own MIDI controller but didn't know what the problem was.
I'll fix the problem now.
Thanks!
I think I love you Tale ;)
I love you too. Group hug? :D

The Note On with zero velocity is a weird definition IMO. Fortunately it is pretty easy to implement.
BTW, this is why I initially didn't understand how Kirnu worked, which I realised only after reading the manual.

Bug fixed! Now you can use your MIDI keyboard.

Cool! I will try the new version tomorrow, and I will let you know if it works for me.
Yay, Kirnu now correctly understands my MIDI keyboard. :)
Meanwhile I have found a couple of issues with the CC settings:
1. The CCs start at number 1, but MIDI CCs are actually zero-based.
2. When CC#1 has been selected, the actual CC sent out is CC#0 (and CC#2 sends out CC#1 etc. etc.).
3. When re-opening the CC list to check which CC is selected, the selected CC number rises by 1 (or sometimes 2).

Thanks Tale for testing. Grab the newest version (beta 6) and tell me if you find anything else.
If you could send me your contact information and I'd ease your testing a little bit ;)

You are welcome. I will try the new beta tomorrow.

There is really no need to send me beer, but if you insist: :D
