I have the mixer set to only show the master and have it docked and the docker floating so I can have the opacity option. The only other thing I have open by default is the performance meter. When I launch Reaper, the mixer pane appears briefly, with the mixer on the wrong (left) side, as though it is docked and the docker is not floating. This is a minor thing but annoying.
