Latency advice

OK, so I have a Dell E6410 laptop running Windows XP 32 bit with 4G RAM

Have an M Audio interface

Tried to do some recordings BUT had latency issues (simple vocal and guitar)

Any advice would be most welcome

In Reaper Options then Prefernces then Audio/Device check which Audio system you are using.Switch it to ASIO if its not already.
