Hello,
I tried to install Cakewalk TTS-1 (it's a DXi) using the regsrv32 command but if gave me an error msg so it did not load. Is TTS-1 compatible with reaper 32 bit running on Win 7 32 bit laptop?
Thanks for the help.
Note : I just downloaded reaper and will evaluate for my own personal use.

No help here :(
Just FYI. I have an old XP SP3 with older Reaper V3*. Regsvr32 loaded the TTS-1 and GM module works as a DXi. I know there is a lot of VSTi available but I like the convenience of TTS-1, multiple instruments available quickly. I wonder if a VSTi similar to TTS-1 is available?

Sorry for no replies but this is a little confusing. You say you get an error message when trying to register the .dll in Vista. If you can't register it, REAPER will not be able to use it but that's nothing REAPER has influence on. If you get it registered, it should work in REAPER. What was the error message?

Is it possible that Sonar needs to be installed for the TTS-1 to get registered? I use to like using the TTS-1, and I believe I have used it in Reaper, but only when Sonar was also installed.

(Sorry if going down the wrong path here.)

I have Win 7 Home Premium (32bit)on a laptop.
Error message as follows:
The module " c:\path\tts-1.dll was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.

Hi boie-

It works fine in REAPER here, but I also have SONAR installed. I don't think TTS-1 is sold separately, so it probably does have a dependency on one or more files normally installed with SONAR.

Edit: I also have NI's Bandstand, which servers the same purpose and is VST, but that's been discontinued. You might still be able to find it somewhere, though.

Oh, so you're saying it works on XP, just not Win 7? Maybe it's a rights issue, since you're getting that error code.

I just checked. I have admin rights if that's what you mean by rights issue.

Yes, if you Google that error code you'll see others getting the same thing even with admin rights (different .dlls, but same error). Can you register other .dlls without getting that error?

I tried a couple. Not all will register.

In short, you may need to elevate the command prompt first:

CMD run as administrator worked.
Thanks for all the help.
