CTRL+Drag removes automation "Move Envelope Points with Media Items" enabled (FIXED)

:mad: This is stupid! :confused: If I copy a media item by ctrl+dragging and have the option to move the envelope points with it, surely the the envelope points at the source media item should be retained?

To clarify : the desired behaviour is that when copying by control dragging a media item that has attached automation points, the same automation points should stay both at the source media item AND the copied item.

also, if you just drag and drop (ie move, not copy) to a different track, the envelope gets lost.

Oh, object based editing, anyone? ;)

It's weird how things go...I used to hate the object based automation in Logic prior to version 5 and was greatly relieved when they introduced TRACK-based automation (which was more ProTools-like, what I had used before Logic). Now, it seems I'd give anything (ermh, a few bucks to Justin, likely) to have the ability to have "objects" that contain automation, fx etc, so I wouldn't have to be so constrained about thinking some stupid "tracks"...Oh, a bit off-topic ramblings here...
