Keyboard shortcut for Edit Region please (DONE)

Would it be possible to add "Edit Region" to the list of commands for which we can create keyboard shortcuts?

That way we can assign one key to create a region and open up the Edit region box for naming.

I'd also like to see the ability to give regions unique colours. Or, colors for y'all Mericans out there :)
