Action to glue all items on tracks
Actions to glue all items on the selected track(s)

Presently, when working with MIDI, a user must manage multiple clips and takes, even though on an intuitive levels, composers and many musicians view instrumental parts as continuous sequences of musical events. For a user who wants to avoid the hassle of always choosing the right clip to edit or making sure no new overlaps are introduced, an easy fix would be to be able to render an entire track of MIDI events into one single large MIDI clip. Hence, this action:

1. Track: Glue all items - Equivalent to selecting all items on the selected track(s) and invoking the glue action.
2. Track: Glue all items, exploding takes - Equivalent to exploding all the takes on all the selected tracks in place, and then executing the "Glue all items" action described above.

I think you can do both with simple macros.

The first one would look like this:
- Item: Select all items in track
- Item: Glue items
The second one needs clarification about the expected result but should be similarly easy to accomplish. If you need help with it, please open a thread in Tipps and Tricks forum http://forum.cockos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21, so we don't clutter the issue tracker with back and forth.
